Spectators: 10655 (Terracing: 8155, Seating: 2500, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Emir Haj Ouertani sped through Durham's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karim Bourguiba. 2-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Riadh Cherni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Emir Haj Ouertani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Yassine Rokki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durham and the Kayazak carthage players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Emir Haj Ouertani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Riadh Cherni came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kayazak carthage fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Riadh Cherni couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Férid Ben Mokadem to make the kick off. Ahmed Ben Yahia might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Bourguiba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmed Ben Yahia ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 57 minutes, Emir Haj Ouertani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayazak carthage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emir Haj Ouertani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emir Haj Ouertani in the 60th minute of play forced Durham's goalkeeper Karim Bourguiba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ahmed Ben Yahia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kayazak carthage's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Ben Yahia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Bourguiba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anouar Mabrouki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Kerrit in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Durham's Anis Baya got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, Kayazak carthage's Driss Boukadida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karim Bourguiba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kayazak carthage reached it. Emir Haj Ouertani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Bourguiba having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Ahmed Ben Yahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayazak carthage's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed Ben Yahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Férid Ben Mokadem in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anouar Mabrouki saved Kayazak carthage from getting behind. 87 minutes into the game, Kayazak carthage's Ahmed Ben Yahia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karim Bourguiba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Khaled Boumnijel put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Karim Bourguiba. Durham's Karim Bourguiba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Boumnijel in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Durham's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmed Ben Yahia came free, but Karim Bourguiba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kayazak carthage had played much better football throughout.
