Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robbie Abbott made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Glasgow City's Peter McMurdoch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jake Robson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Glasgow City. Edward Armitage stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jake Robson. 1-0. If Ron McGilp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Robbie Abbott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glasgow City's Stuart McAllan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Peter McMurdoch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Robson. Pitlochry's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter McMurdoch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Pitlochry getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Malcolm McElfrish hit a great ball. Peter McMurdoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Robson having to interfere. Jake Robson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Peter McMurdoch sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Robbie Abbott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitlochry's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Abbott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart McAllan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim McVurich took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stuart McAllan. Stuart McAllan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ron McGilp was the one to do the kick off. Tim McVurich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Stuart McAllan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keith Lemond kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Pitlochry's goal looked a bit too open when Peter McMurdoch came free, but Jake Robson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robbie Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ron McGilp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Tim McVurich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitlochry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Ron McGilp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim McVurich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robbie Abbott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Jim Kennedy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glasgow City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitlochry the free kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
