Spectators: 6814 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Garve AFC's zone, Evan Ayson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Alderson came out of the goal and Evan Ayson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cromarty FC's goalkeeper Freddie McOwl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Jay McQuire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie McOwl. Cromarty FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay McQuire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jack Christie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes in the game, Evan Ayson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jay McQuire might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddie McOwl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jay McQuire ran back to his position shaking his head. Garve AFC's Jay McQuire got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darius Spence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Freddie McOwl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Alderson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Christie in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darius Spence in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie McOwl saved Cromarty FC from getting behind. When Jack Christie came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cromarty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Christie couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evan Ayson in the 34th minute of play forced Garve AFC's goalkeeper Robin Alderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Darius Spence managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garve AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darius Spence was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie McOwl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddie McOwl was a little too slow when Darius Spence got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evan Ayson made a kick off. Jack Christie struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Robin Alderson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cromarty FC. Robin Alderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evan Ayson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes of play, Cromarty FC's Evan Ayson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robin Alderson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jack Christie came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cromarty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jack Christie couldn't finish the play. Darius Spence scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddie McOwl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jay McQuire came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Garve AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay McQuire couldn't finish the play.
