Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evan Ayson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Evan Ayson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matt Aitken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matt Aitken could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Freddie McOwl made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evan Ayson in the 13th minute of play forced Fochabers City's goalkeeper Stevie Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cromarty FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Christie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cromarty FC's Freddie McOwl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Lyall in the 91st minute of play. Freddie McOwl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Aitken in the 96th minute of play.
