Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Calum McMath made the kick off which started today's match. Ter Lamondson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius Spence in the 6th minute of play forced Aboyne's goalkeeper Adrian Henderson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Calum McMath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David McInnes charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David McInnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David McInnes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Robin Alderson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rob Foulis. A collision led to Garve AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Eric Greenlaw hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Ter Lamondson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jay McQuire in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Henderson saved Aboyne from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Aboyne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Carson to maneuver through the defense. After 18th play minutes Darius Spence shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Adrian Henderson and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Garve AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. David McInnes hit a great ball. When Aboyne's Calum McMath in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garve AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Alderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calum McMath, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Adrian Henderson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darius Spence went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ter Lamondson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Ter Lamondson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aboyne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ter Lamondson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darius Spence made a kick off. Aboyne's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Darius Spence scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Henderson, making the score, 0-3. Jay McQuire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ter Lamondson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Alderson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Rob Foulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garve AFC's Jay McQuire got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Henderson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Jay McQuire sent off a good shot on target. Ter Lamondson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Alderson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Calum McMath went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Aboyne's Ter Lamondson got a free kick in the 95th minute.
