Martin Hutchenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronan McRankin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Forest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Martin Hutchenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Ronan McRankin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Hutchenson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronan McRankin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Hutchenson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nicholas Casey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirkliston AFC's Douglas Forest got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tutanota City's zone, Ronan McRankin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Hutchenson came out of the goal and Ronan McRankin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kirkliston AFC's goalkeeper Michael McGill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gus McCraw to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Roy Norman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tutanota City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kirkliston AFC the free kick. A collision led to Tutanota City getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Roy Norman hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Gus McCraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael McGill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Graham McGuaran fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirkliston AFC's protests and gave Graham McGuaran a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Kirkliston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Graham McGuaran. 72 minutes into the match, Kirkliston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gus McCraw came free, but Michael McGill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Hutchenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Forest, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Tutanota City's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Forest came free, but Martin Hutchenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kirkliston AFC's Jack Binnie got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tutanota City's Martin Hutchenson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Forest in the 90th minute of play. Gus McCraw struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Michael McGill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tutanota City. Michael McGill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus McCraw in the 95th minute of play. The Tutanota City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kirkliston AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
