After having played for 26 minutes, Martin Dunlop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Dunlop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Steve Campbell fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lasswade's protests and gave Steve Campbell a yellow card for diving instead. Steve Campbell kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Martin Dunlop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wick's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Dunlop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greg Bunten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas McComie got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Wick getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lucas McComie hit a great ball. Nicky McKintosh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Dempster in the 33rd minute of the match. Steve Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lasswade's Ciaran McRobb in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wick's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicky McKintosh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Davie Brewster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Bunten having to interfere. Davie Brewster struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Greg Bunten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wick. Harry Dempster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicky McKintosh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Dempster in the 88th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ciaran McRobb who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wick's Nicky McKintosh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciaran McRobb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lasswade's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
