Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Donald McVail was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glasgow Dublins FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aberdeen FC the free kick. Donald McVail kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Willie Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aberdeen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Glasgow Dublins FC's Callum McNeilage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ken Boyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Tim McKimmie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aberdeen FC's Ken Boyes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Owen McDermid made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Tyler Comrie sent off a good shot on target. Glasgow Dublins FC's Owen McDermid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Hill in the 38th minute of play. Tyler Comrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen McDermid having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyler Comrie got free with Owen McDermid in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim McKimmie to make the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Aberdeen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Munro McCoull to maneuver through the defense. Glasgow Dublins FC's Owen McDermid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Hill in the 66th minute of play. Callum McNeilage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ken Boyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aberdeen FC's Jordan Colville got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Owen McDermid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler Comrie in the 74th minute of play. If Tim McKimmie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tim McKimmie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tyler Comrie came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Aberdeen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tyler Comrie couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tyler Comrie in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Owen McDermid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Glasgow Dublins FC's Tim McKimmie in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aberdeen FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Tyler Comrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
