He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eric Spence. Paul Gorman's late challenge caught a Dunfermline Athletic F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Gorman helped the player get up and apologised. 8 minutes into the game, one of Lossiemouth FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12thth minute of the game Bayhan Kökşin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lossiemouth FC's Adam Malloch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alexander Stringer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy McAuselan took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Spence. Eric Spence dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Alexander Stringer struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Adam Malloch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunfermline Athletic F.C.. In the 31st minute Bayhan Kökşin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Malloch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Malloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayhan Kökşin in the 32nd minute of play. If Alexander Stringer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayhan Kökşin might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Malloch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bayhan Kökşin ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Dunfermline Athletic F.C.'s Bayhan Kökşin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Malloch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 42 minutes, Angus Dobson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunfermline Athletic F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Angus Dobson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bayhan Kökşin in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Malloch saved Lossiemouth FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Bayhan Kökşin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Malloch was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy McAuselan was the one to do the kick off. Alexander Stringer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Malloch having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Bayhan Kökşin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lossiemouth FC's Adam Malloch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Lossiemouth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bayhan Kökşin came free, but Adam Malloch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Angus Dobson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adam Malloch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 62 minutes, Bayhan Kökşin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lossiemouth FC's Adam Malloch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Lossiemouth FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Billy McAuselan notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Dunfermline Athletic F.C.'s Eric Spence. Eric Spence was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bayhan Kökşin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Adam Malloch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Lossiemouth FC booed when Dunfermline Athletic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicol McGrath didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Stringer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Malloch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lossiemouth FC could leave the field as winners, despite Dunfermline Athletic F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
