Alloway AFC's Joe McWalrick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Alloway AFC from getting a goal against them. Alloway AFC's Joe McWalrick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Lawson in the 60th minute of play. Alloway AFC's Roy Aspin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Paul Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe McWalrick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Munro McCalmont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roy Aspin in the 68th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Ronan McAdie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but McLaren Academy FC's Munro McCalmont was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Munro McCalmont managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Alloway AFC's Roy Aspin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st match minute, McLaren Academy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin McRobie to maneuver through the defense. Paul Lawson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Lawson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to McLaren Academy FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Paul Lawson hit a great ball. Roy Aspin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent McAngus's late challenge caught a Alloway AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent McAngus helped the player get up and apologised. Roy Aspin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Munro McCalmont having to interfere. The Alloway AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
