Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paul Lawson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alexander McPetrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, Alexander McPetrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Munro McCalmont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Milne in the 6th minute of the match. Callum Foulis scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Munro McCalmont, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14thth minute of the game Callum Foulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but McLaren Academy FC's Munro McCalmont was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Logan Milne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Logan Milne took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Munro McCalmont. Munro McCalmont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Logan Milne might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Munro McCalmont. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Logan Milne ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind McLaren Academy FC's goalkeeper Munro McCalmont, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Munro McCalmont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Logan Milne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alexander McPetrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinbrace AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander McPetrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Munro McCalmont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Gordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Logan Milne was the one to do the kick off. When Archie McAy fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored McLaren Academy FC's protests and gave Archie McAy a yellow card for diving instead. Alexander McPetrie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Munro McCalmont made a huge save. McLaren Academy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Logan Milne scored to the left of an out of position Munro McCalmont, making the score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in McLaren Academy FC's zone, Alexander McPetrie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Munro McCalmont came out of the goal and Alexander McPetrie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Lawson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathan McLarty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Callum Foulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kinbrace AFC and the McLaren Academy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kinbrace AFC's goalkeeper Nathan McLarty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mike McAldonich during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Mike McAldonich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Gordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan McLarty having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Logan Milne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinbrace AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Logan Milne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Munro McCalmont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Billy Kerracher in the 83rd minute really tested Munro McCalmont's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Munro McCalmont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Milne in the 84th minute of the match. Kinbrace AFC's Nathan McLarty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Gordon in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Kinbrace AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Finlayson to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Kinbrace AFC got a freekick which was hit by Callum Foulis. In the 96th minute of the match Raymond Rome shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan McLarty showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kinbrace AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
