Drew Paterson came out of the goal and Jimmy Lair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalwhinnie AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aiden Gibb in the 20th minute. Simon Lorne tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Drew Paterson. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 20th minute. Dalwhinnie AFC's Guy McKellachie pulled a muscle in his back after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 28 minutes into the match, Bruichladdich United's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Lair came free, but Drew Paterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew Paterson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Lair in the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bruichladdich United's goalkeeper Drew Paterson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 44 in the game by Kevin Simpson from a close distance when the talented Stevie Wallis managed to make a qualified save. Dalwhinnie AFC's players were relieved. Kevin Simpson struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Stevie Wallis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruichladdich United. The Bruichladdich United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dalwhinnie AFC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Jimmy Lair made the kick off in the second half. Lloyd Beton struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Drew Paterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dalwhinnie AFC. Robin Lammond charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Lammond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bruichladdich United booed when Dalwhinnie AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Lammond didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Bruichladdich United's Jonathan Wilkie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stevie Wallis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmy Lairs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Drew Paterson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stevie Wallis came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruichladdich United's Jonathan Wilkie. But to his dismay, Jonathan Wilkie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 72nd minute, Neil White hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Wilkie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stevie Wallis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jonathan Wilkie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruichladdich United's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Wilkie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stevie Wallis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalwhinnie AFC's Stevie Wallis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Simpson in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Bruichladdich United's Jonathan Wilkie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stevie Wallis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Jonathan Wilkie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Simpson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Jonathan Wilkie made a precise shot to the right of Stevie Wallis. Dalwhinnie AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Stevie Wallis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Simpson in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kevin Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruichladdich United's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Simpson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stevie Wallis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stevie Wallis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Wilkie in the 96th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Bruichladdich United were the better team. Bruichladdich United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
