Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Shane Alexander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Shane Alexander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John McIntyre having to interfere. Hamish Innes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. John McIntyre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12thth minute of the game Nicol McGowan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NUCKERS FC's Aaron Cole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicol McGowan in the 16th minute of play forced NUCKERS FC's goalkeeper Aaron Cole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Declan McAskill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarinish's supporters crossed their fingers, but Declan McAskill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Declan McAskill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matt McCraw got free with John McIntyre in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicol McGowan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st match minute, NUCKERS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ewan Abrahams to maneuver through the defense. If Nicol McGowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Scarinish getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marcus Hewitson hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicol McGowan made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Nicol McGowan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarinish's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicol McGowan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Cole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicol McGowan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Cole having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Nicol McGowan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aaron Cole was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Shane Alexander notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Scarinish's John McIntyre. John McIntyre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lloyd Taylor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Scarinish getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gareth McKessock hit a great ball. Declan McAskill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, NUCKERS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicol McGowan came free, but Aaron Cole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shane Alexander struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. John McIntyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NUCKERS FC. John McIntyre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt McCraw in the 91st minute of play. John McIntyre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shane Alexander, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, Shane Alexander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NUCKERS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. NUCKERS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
