In the 9th minute, Edward Armitage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drew Forsyth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 43rd minute, Alex Robinson made a precise shot to the right of Robin Mark. Scotland Stars FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Drummore United's Drew Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Gardner in the 46th minute of play. Robin Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth Hutchenson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Robinson made the kick off in the second half. Gareth Hutchenson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alex Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drummore United's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Robinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Mark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Robinsons short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Robin Mark to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gareth Hutchenson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Robin Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robin Mark acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Declan Yule.
