Golden State Warriors's Roy McCrouther got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 88th match minute, Golden State Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Combie to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Livingston's Joshua McKinley broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Timothy McLewis struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. When Fraser Combie came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Golden State Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fraser Combie couldn't finish the play. Daniel McLure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Golden State Warriors were victorious despite being under pressure from Livingston for much of the match.
