Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edmond McNuyer got the match started through his kick off. Edmond McNuyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Coulthart in the 5th minute of play forced Brora FC's goalkeeper Innes McKeith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Brora FC got a freekick which was hit by Steven Kean. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Wally McCrindle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wally McCrindle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innes McKeith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmond McNuyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Doles having to interfere. Ronald McKean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wally McCrindle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innes McKeith having to interfere. Innes McKeith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wally McCrindle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Ronald McKean made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rangers F.C.'s Kyle Doles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wally McCrindle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innes McKeith having to interfere. Kyle Doles came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Brora FC's Ronald McKean. But to his dismay, Ronald McKean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ronald McKean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyle Doles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald McKean went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wally McCrindle to make the kick off. When David Coulthart, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Innes McKeith was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Lewis McNeilly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Rangers F.C. booed when Brora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis McNeilly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmond McNuyer struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Kyle Doles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brora FC. Wally McCrindle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Innes McKeith made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when David Coulthart sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Ronald McKean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Doles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Rangers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edmond McNuyer came free, but Kyle Doles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Wally McCrindle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innes McKeith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronald McKean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kyle Doles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Edmond McNuyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond McNuyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyle Doles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis McNeilly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Brora FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
