Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wally McCrindle kicked off to start the match. Shane Elliot took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kyle Doles. Kyle Doles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Quentin McWattie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zurich Mouls Attack's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin McWattie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kyle Doles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wally McCrindle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Coulthart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Dougal Currie made a huge save. Kyle Doles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shane Elliot's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. David Coulthart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dougal Currie having to interfere. Wally McCrindle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. David Coulthart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rangers F.C.'s David Coulthart got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wally McCrindle kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. David Coulthart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dougal Currie having to interfere. In the 38th minute, David Coulthart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dougal Currie made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Coulthart in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quentin McWattie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kyle Doles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin McWattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zurich Mouls Attack's Dougal Currie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wally McCrindle in the 57th minute of play. Aaron McEachran charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron McEachran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wally McCrindle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dougal Currie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Elliot might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyle Doles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shane Elliot ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Zurich Mouls Attack's zone, David Coulthart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dougal Currie came out of the goal and David Coulthart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Shane Elliot came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Zurich Mouls Attack fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shane Elliot couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Wally McCrindle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangers F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wally McCrindle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Quentin McWattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quentin McWattie might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyle Doles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quentin McWattie ran back to his position shaking his head. Shane Elliot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kyle Doles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rangers F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zurich Mouls Attack's performance. The match ended with a win for Zurich Mouls Attack.
