The referee showed Paul McVail the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 10 minutes, William Stringer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lochearnhead United's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Stringer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Glasgow Poland Team's goal looked a bit too open when Walter McCrain came free, but Ivan Sandison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter McCrain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Sandison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Ivan Sandison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Stringer in the 16th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Lochearnhead United's William Stringer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Sandison made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ricky Gregorson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Ewan Donlevy made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fergus Crozier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ewan Donlevy was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After 94 played minutes Glasgow Poland Team got a freekick which was hit by Gareth McGugan. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lochearnhead United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
