Evan McAree ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lewis McHugh came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Castlebay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis McHugh couldn't finish the play. Martin Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evan McAree hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Marc McImmey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tam McFall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gordon Drummond's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Castlebay FC were the better team. Castlebay FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
