In the 7th match minute, Castle Rock Blue Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Greenlaw to maneuver through the defense. If Ron McColl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Ron McColl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Fee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Scott Bryde came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Strathcarron City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Scott Bryde couldn't finish the play. Kyle McCorkle lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Castle Rock Blue Knights:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Strathcarron City. Matthew Crookshanks stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mike Tonnochy. 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Strathcarron City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iain McMath to maneuver through the defense. If Scott Bryde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lee Collier kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Rupert Stringer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strathcarron City's Scott Bryde got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward McMutrie to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Edward McMutrie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lee McRitchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strathcarron City's supporters rose to their feet, but Lee McRitchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Tonnochy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mike Tonnochy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lee McRitchie in the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Iain McMath was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strathcarron City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castle Rock Blue Knights the free kick. After a rather tough play, Strathcarron City's Iain McMath got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Bryde in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Tonnochy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, Alexander McTier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strathcarron City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castle Rock Blue Knights the free kick. In the 91st minute, Alexander McTier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sam Fee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward McMutrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, Scott Bryde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Strathcarron City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
