The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Brian Neil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kyle Agnew tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Beauly AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Fish came free, but Arthur Barry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calum McCuish in the 31st minute of play forced Arrochar's goalkeeper Kyle Agnew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calum McCuish struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kyle Agnew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beauly AFC.

Arrochar's Kyle Agnew proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Arrochar from getting a goal against them. If Brian Neil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Brian Neil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kyle Agnew was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arrochar's Patrick Fish got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Charlie McKaskill came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Arrochar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie McKaskill couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Patrick Fish had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barry. Beauly AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Fish was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. If Patrick Fish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calum McCuish got free with Kyle Agnew in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrick Fish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyle Agnew made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calum McCuish in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Beauly AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Murchison came free, but Arthur Barry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Arrochar's goalkeeper Kyle Agnew had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calum McCuish. Bradley Landers took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kyle Agnew. Kyle Agnew dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 97 minutes into the match, Patrick Fish notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Beauly AFC's Arthur Barry. Arthur Barry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
