The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ryan McLeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Barry having to interfere. The Emily Soccer FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Emily Soccer FC's Ryan McLeister looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th play minute Calum McCuish came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mike McGaw. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Beauly AFC's Bradley Landers got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eric Robison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arthur Barry. Beauly AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mike McGaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Neil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Barry came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Emily Soccer FC's Tyler Lemond. But to his dismay, Tyler Lemond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Arthur Barry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan McLeister in the 31st minute of the match. Beauly AFC's Arthur Barry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan McLeister in the 34th minute of play. If Calum McCuish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Beauly AFC's Brian Neil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike McGaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ryan McLeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Arthur Barry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Emily Soccer FC's zone, Bradley Landers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mike McGaw came out of the goal and Bradley Landers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryan McLeister to strike the kick off in the second half. Bradley Landers charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradley Landers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Emily Soccer FC booed when Beauly AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradley Landers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyler Lemond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Arthur Barry skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brian Neil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike McGaw having to interfere. Arthur Barry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryan McLeister's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Beauly AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Emily Soccer FC:s goal. The referee gave Emily Soccer FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eric Robison, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Beauly AFC's Arthur Barry. 2-3. Mike McGaw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Neil went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Ryan McLeister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Neil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mike McGaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Innes Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99th minute Calum McCuish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike McGaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
