After recieving a nice pass, Annan AFC's Steve Harvey tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lucas Cameron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Darius McLucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Cameron in the 39th minute of play forced Aviemore FC's goalkeeper Darius McLucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Lloyd Dobie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annan AFC and the Aviemore FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Cameron to make the kick off. When Alan Watt came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Aviemore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Watt couldn't finish the play. George McCaskill struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Luke Davis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aviemore FC. When Darius GruaMcH fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Annan AFC's protests and gave Darius GruaMcH a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Annan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darius GruaMcH. Luke Davis came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Aviemore FC's George McCaskill. But to his dismay, George McCaskill quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lee McDonleavy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lee McDonleavy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Aviemore FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciaran Weaver hit a great ball. Luke Davis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George McCaskill in the 97th minute of play. Aviemore FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
