The supporters of Aviemore FC booed when Celtic City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Gilbride didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick McHendry in the 95th minute of play forced Aviemore FC's goalkeeper Darius McLucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Watt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Broom having to interfere.
