Martin Cruickshanks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee McGilchrist kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in House Of Cards FC's zone, Lee McGilchrist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip Donachie came out of the goal and Lee McGilchrist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phillip Donachie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Cruickshanks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phillip Donachie came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Wick's Martin Cruickshanks. But to his dismay, Martin Cruickshanks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Martin Cruickshanks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. House Of Cards FC's Phillip Donachie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save House Of Cards FC from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Martin Cruickshanks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Donachie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lee McGilchrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Cruickshanks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phillip Donachie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, House Of Cards FC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Cruickshanks came free, but Phillip Donachie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Cruickshanks's late challenge caught a House Of Cards FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Cruickshanks helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Cruickshanks kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Ian Allan might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harold McIldowie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ian Allan ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 58th minute Martin Cruickshanks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Donachie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lee McGilchrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. House Of Cards FC's Phillip Donachie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Cruickshanks in the 65th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Wick's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Allan came free, but Harold McIldowie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lee McGilchrist kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Wick's Martin Cruickshanks in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye House Of Cards FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 played minutes House Of Cards FC got a freekick which was hit by Ian Allan. After having played for 87 minutes, Martin Cruickshanks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Cruickshanks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Cruickshanks in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Donachie prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
