Spectators: 6797 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 0) Annan AFC's Lucas Cameron started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Forsinard United's Darius McClymont dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 11 played minutes Annan AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gareth McIlvora. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Annan AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Forsinard United:s goal. In the 23rd match minute, Annan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gareth McIlvora to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Lee McDonleavy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Walter Thomson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st match minute, Forsinard United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taylor Lamont to maneuver through the defense. Lee McDonleavy struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Darius Forrest didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annan AFC. 37 minutes into the match, Annan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Darius McClymont came free, but Luke Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Garrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darius McClymont made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Annan AFC's Lee McDonleavy got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Darius McClymont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gareth McIlvora charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gareth McIlvora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Darius Forrest made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lee McDonleavy in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Wayne McIver was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forsinard United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annan AFC the free kick. Luke Davis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ben Garrow's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Luke Davis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius McClymont in the 92nd minute of play. Steve Harvey kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darius McClymont in the 97th minute of play forced Annan AFC's goalkeeper Luke Davis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forsinard United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Annan AFC for a fine match.
