Spectators: 7779 (Terracing: 5835, Seating: 1789, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregor Collins kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Max McOwl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. House Of Cards FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celtic City the free kick. After a rather tough play, House Of Cards FC's Max McOwl got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Terry McShimes fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored House Of Cards FC's protests and gave Terry McShimes a yellow card for diving instead. House Of Cards FC:s Phillip Donachie showed great skill when he stopped Harry McGillegowie:s penalty. In the 9th match minute, House Of Cards FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max McOwl to maneuver through the defense. Rick McHendry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rick McHendry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Phillip Donachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Celtic City's Daniel Broom got control of the ball when Duncan Brown tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Broom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Allan in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Celtic City getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bradley Fraser hit a great ball. When House Of Cards FC's Duncan Brown in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Daniel Broom guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Celtic City's Rick McHendry got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Robin Ewart fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored House Of Cards FC's protests and gave Robin Ewart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, one of House Of Cards FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for House Of Cards FC. After the first half Celtic City were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 60th minute Gregor Collins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Donachie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. House Of Cards FC's Duncan Brown got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregor Collins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gregor Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Broom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Allan in the 74th minute of play. If Ian Allan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terry McShimes, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ian Allan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Daniel Broom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregor Collins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. House Of Cards FC's Phillip Donachie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregor Collins in the 94th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aidan McColl got free with Phillip Donachie in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Gregor Collins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celtic City's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregor Collins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Donachie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Celtic City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than House Of Cards FC.
