When Celtic City's Iain Webster in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forsinard United's goalie prevented a goal. Gregor Collins took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darius Forrest. Darius Forrest dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gregor Collins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rick McHendry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rick McHendry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Darius Forrest tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Forsinard United's Darius McClymont sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Broom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Darius McClymont made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Celtic City's Daniel Broom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Celtic City's Daniel Broom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Garrow in the 30th minute of play. Ben Garrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Forsinard United's Wayne McIver got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aidan McColl's late challenge caught a Forsinard United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aidan McColl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Celtic City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aidan McColl to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Forsinard United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Ben McNeilly hit a great ball. Darius Forrest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick McHendry in the 59th minute of play. Darius McClymont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Garrow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darius McClymont in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Broom saved Celtic City from getting behind. After having played for 72 minutes, Wayne McIver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forsinard United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wayne McIver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celtic City's Daniel Broom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius McClymont in the 75th minute of play. Ben Garrow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Daniel Broom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Aidan McColl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Celtic City's Gregor Collins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darius Forrest narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Forsinard United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt McKeochan to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Celtic City's goal looked a bit too open when Darius McClymont came free, but Daniel Broom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ben Garrow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsinard United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Garrow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Broom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
