Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lee Dempsie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicholas Kristoffersens short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Lee Dempsie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renoresa Psygi's Honorio Apablaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Lawrie in the 16th minute of play. Nicholas Kristoffersen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lee Dempsie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Nicholas Kristoffersen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Renoresa Psygi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nicholas Kristoffersen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Lee Dempsie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renoresa Psygi's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Kristoffersen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Dempsie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie McRaild in the 33rd minute of play forced Renoresa Psygi's goalkeeper Honorio Apablaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicholas Kristoffersen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lee Dempsie 37 minutes into the match. Phillip Fife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lee Dempsie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Honorio Apablaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephen Allan in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lee Dempsie came out of the goal and Nicholas Kristoffersen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Reece Appleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renoresa Psygi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reece Appleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Kristoffersen in the 86th minute of play forced Lauder United's goalkeeper Lee Dempsie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lauder United's zone, Reece Appleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lee Dempsie came out of the goal and Reece Appleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Lauder United's Hamish McMurrich got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Nicholas Kristoffersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
