Euan Hutcheson scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tyler Scobie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Tande got free with Edward McHendrie in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Oliver Abbott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Scobie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyler Scobie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason McGilvray in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Euan Hutcheson made a precise shot to the right of Tyler Scobie. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Edward McHendrie made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Reynaldo Tande sent off a good shot on target. If Reynaldo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gary McQuhirr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edward McHendrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, Nasty Dreams FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max McKnight to maneuver through the defense. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jason McPhedran in the 30th minute. Jason McPhedran made a great header on Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's corner, it was just that Nasty Dreams FC's Edward McHendrie managed to reach the ball for a save. If Oliver Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward McHendrie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Tande in the 34th minute. Reynaldo Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward McHendrie having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Oliver Abbott made a precise shot to the right of Tyler Scobie. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Nasty Dreams FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oliver Abbott stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shane France kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Edward McHendrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 62 minutes, Reynaldo Tande made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Nasty Dreams FC's Edward McHendrie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Euan Hutcheson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Tyler Scobie made a huge save. Ramon Ommen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. If Gary McQuhirr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frankie Lauchlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward McHendrie having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Jason McGilvray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nasty Dreams FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels the free kick. In the 78th minute, Jason McGilvray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Frankie Lauchlan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After having played for 84 minutes, Frankie Lauchlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Lauchlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frankie Lauchlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Gary McQuhirr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward McHendrie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary McQuhirr in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gary McQuhirr in the 98th minute of play forced Nasty Dreams FC's goalkeeper Edward McHendrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Jason McPhedran suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Shane France charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shane France the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shane France hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Although Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels had been in control for most of the match, Nasty Dreams FC still came away with the win.
