Turriff's Euan Robison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Turriff from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Turriff's Euan Robison got control of the ball when John McBeolain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Steve McLymont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Euan Robison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Dark Side Walker FC's Steve McLymont sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Euan Robison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark McKiggan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Dark Side Walker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciaran Hossack came free, but Mark McKiggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciaran Hossack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark McKiggan having to interfere. When Turriff's Patrick Jameson in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Turriff's Adrian Kendrick got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th match minute, Dark Side Walker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Ellis to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Steve McLymont's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Euan Robison was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Patrick Jameson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Turriff's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Dark Side Walker FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 79th minute, Ciaran Hossack fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mark McKiggan, passed just outside the right post.
