Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinny Lamondson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ace Kilgore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Renoresa's Ace Kilgore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinny Lamondson in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes FC Renoresa got a freekick which was hit by Tolga Sarpkan. With a little luck, Banchory AFC's Johnny Taggart got control of the ball when Sylwester Czajkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Banchory AFC's Rob Griesck got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Renoresa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin McAdie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Walker charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Walker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Asle Refsnes's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Johnny Taggart - 2-0 was put on the score board in the 80th minute. After 84 played minutes, Banchory AFC's Terry Francis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ace Kilgore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Banchory AFC reached it. Johnny Taggart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylwester Czajkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
