After 55 played minutes Ballygrant got a freekick which was hit by Tommy McUlric. Matthew Colville kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Dougal Alder took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Simpson. Peter Simpson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Vincent Gilmour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Paddy Fox made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Ballygrant's Vincent Gilmour ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paddy Fox. Paddy Fox yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After 80 minutes Hogsmeade FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Drew McNamell who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ballygrant's Eric McGillivray getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
