Spectators: 6799 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Saltcoats's goal looked a bit too open when Larry Gillanders came free, but Jacob Denoon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor McAuselan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Hogsmeade FC's Paddy Fox got control of the ball when Nicholas Clyne tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dougal Alder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Saltcoats got a freekick which was hit by Munro Lemond. Paddy Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Leitch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Denoon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Minnus in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Nicholas Clyne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saltcoats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Clyne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacob Denoon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luke Minnus in the 24th minute of play. If Barry Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paddy Fox stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arthur Leitch's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Leitch in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paddy Fox prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Larry Gillanders's late challenge caught a Saltcoats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Gillanders helped the player get up and apologised. Larry Gillanders kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Saltcoats's Jacob Denoon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Minnus in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Jacob Denoon managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Hogsmeade FC's Dougal Alder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arthur Leitch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Paddy Fox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paddy Fox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Leitch in the 62nd minute of play. Paddy Fox came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saltcoats's Arthur Leitch. But to his dismay, Arthur Leitch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Dougal Alder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With 74 minutes on the clock, Munro Lemond commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saltcoats fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Hogsmeade FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Archie McCooish, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Saltcoats's Jacob Denoon. 1-1. Nicholas Clyne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Paddy Fox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Clyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Saltcoats's Barry Austin got a free kick in the 88th minute. Luke Minnus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jacob Denoon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Marcus Duffy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saltcoats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hogsmeade FC the free kick. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saltcoats! The Saltcoats supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hogsmeade FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hogsmeade FC.
