Richard McTaggart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rupert McMath having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dean Fairley in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rupert McMath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Richard McTaggart ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rupert McMath was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dean Fairley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Caesarians defense, Frank Neal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charles Forster. The Caesarians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charles Forster should have stopped the shot. Richard McTaggart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rupert McMath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Jake Eadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rupert McMath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard McTaggart in the 35th minute of the match. AC Glasgow Football's Rupert McMath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Fairley in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Glasgow Football's zone, Dean Fairley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rupert McMath came out of the goal and Dean Fairley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Caesarians's Richard McTaggart in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Glasgow Football's goalie prevented a goal. AC Glasgow Football's Rupert McMath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Fairley in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Dean Fairley made the kick off in the second half. Charles Forster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Innie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Caesarians booed when AC Glasgow Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy McPhorich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rupert McMath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matt McGreusich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard McTaggart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rupert McMath tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert McMath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rupert McMath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Fairley in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caesarians's Jake Eadie got a free kick in the 87th minute. AC Glasgow Football were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Caesarians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barry Luke took the corner. AC Glasgow Football's Barry Luke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles Forster in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, Patrick McGillivantic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caesarians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Glasgow Football the free kick. Caesarians's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
