Duncan McChlerich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Walter Brewster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raymond Durrant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmond Barbor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Connor McClure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Phil Jones from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Ross McGrath's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 34 minutes into the game, Charles Spittal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brzeszcze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ardgay the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Brzeszcze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Spittal to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Nicol Arbuckle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Brewster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Duncan McChlerich came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ardgay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan McChlerich couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Brzeszcze getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Connor McClure hit a great ball. Edmond Barbor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Brewster having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Brzeszcze's Charles Spittal got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, Ardgay's Nicol Arbuckle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walter Brewster came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ardgay reached it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmond Barbor was the one to do the kick off. Raymond Durrant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross McGrath having to make a save. Ardgay's Ross McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Durrant in the 59th minute of play. When Duncan McChlerich came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ardgay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan McChlerich couldn't finish the play. Ross McGrath came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Brzeszcze's Raymond Durrant. But to his dismay, Raymond Durrant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brzeszcze's goalkeeper Walter Brewster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmond Barbor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ross McGrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Durrant in the 79th minute of play. Adam McIlleriach made a great header on Brzeszcze's corner, it was just that Ardgay's Ross McGrath managed to reach the ball for a save. Connor McClure sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicol Arbuckle during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When David Ennis fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brzeszcze's protests and gave David Ennis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Brzeszcze's David Ennis got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Ardgay's Nicol Arbuckle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Duncan McChlerich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Brzeszcze players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
