Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iain Conochie took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aviemore City's goalkeeper Craig McLarty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gareth Harold in the 6th minute of play forced Troon AFC's goalkeeper Nicol Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iain Conochie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Troon AFC's Nicol Carter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Troon AFC from getting a goal against them. Craig McLarty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg McCowan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iain Conochie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicol Carter came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aviemore City's Oliver Hossack. But to his dismay, Oliver Hossack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nicol Carter was a little too slow when Iain Conochie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-0. Aviemore City's Craig McLarty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Forrister in the 46th minute of play. Quentin Colyear charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quentin Colyear the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Quentin Colyear hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Craig McLarty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Forrister, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greg McCowan made a kick off. Jim Forrister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Forrister succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 58th playminute. Craig McLarty made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jim Forrister sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Troon AFC's Craig McLarty threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Greg McCowan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Craig McLarty acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from John Whannell. Oliver Hossack scored 4-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicol Carter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gareth Harold fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aviemore City's protests and gave Gareth Harold a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Aviemore City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gareth Harold to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Charles hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Oliver Hossack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Troon AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean McFeat to maneuver through the defense. If Iain Conochie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Aviemore City's Oliver Hossack nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicol Carter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Iain Conochie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Iain Conochie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicol Carter was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. After 99 minutes Troon AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was William McAskill who took care of the corner kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Troon AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aviemore City.
