Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Larry McCorkindale took the kick off in the first half of the match. Charlie Combie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry McCorkindale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Wick's goal looked a bit too open when Larry McCorkindale came free, but Charlie Combie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Larry McCorkindale in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charlie Combie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Larry McCorkindale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Combie having to interfere. Lucas McGeachie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Ogilvie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Richard Pitullich shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas McGeachie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Ivan McWhirter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Bowmore AFC got a freekick which was hit by Archie Cookson. Wick's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Craig McIssac in the 37th minute. The corner ended in Craig McIssac almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bowmore AFC's Lucas McGeachie did a great save. Sean Ogilvie charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sean Ogilvie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sean Ogilvie made a kick off. With his leg Lucas McGeachie managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Wick's Sean Ogilvie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ross Edie struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Lucas McGeachie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wick. Lucas McGeachie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ross Edie in the 56th minute. A collision led to Bowmore AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ivan McWhirter hit a great ball. Wick were furious when Craig McIssac was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wick fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Angus Davies charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angus Davies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wick's Angus Davies got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Euan Masterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 76 minutes into the match, Wick's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Cookson came free, but Charlie Combie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wick's goalkeeper Charlie Combie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Bowmore AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan McWhirter to maneuver through the defense. Lucas McGeachie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank McKessock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ross Edie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Lucas McGeachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Euan Masterson in the 91st minute of play forced Wick's goalkeeper Charlie Combie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Euan Masterson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bowmore AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Euan Masterson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charlie Combie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry McCorkindale, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bowmore AFC's zone, Ross Edie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas McGeachie came out of the goal and Ross Edie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
