An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Burnes in the 3rd minute of play forced AA Black Green City's goalkeeper Lewis Lemond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, AA Black Green City's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Burnes came free, but Lewis Lemond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Burnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lewis Lemond having to make a save. Lewis Lemond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Burnes in the 9th minute of play. Aaron Buckley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Lemond having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Douglas Burnes in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lewis Lemond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Frankie Train fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Black Green City's protests and gave Frankie Train a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, RAVENCLAW's Derek McCubbin tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bruce McIndoe charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruce McIndoe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AA Black Green City booed when RAVENCLAW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce McIndoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Nicky McOran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lewis Lemond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, AA Black Green City's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Burnes came free, but Lewis Lemond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Harold McPhedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, one of RAVENCLAW:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RAVENCLAW. In the 47th minute, RAVENCLAW's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edmond Reidfurd fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sid McGoun to strike the kick off in the second half. Sid McGoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold McPhedron having to interfere. Lewis Lemond came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by RAVENCLAW's Douglas Burnes. But to his dismay, Douglas Burnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 58 minutes, Jonathan Hossack mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AA Black Green City and the RAVENCLAW players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AA Black Green City getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jonathan Hossack hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Sid McGoun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Burnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 70 minutes, Douglas Burnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAVENCLAW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Burnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Liam Tonnochy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Edmond Reidfurd came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the AA Black Green City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmond Reidfurd couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Douglas Burnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAVENCLAW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Burnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drew Ballantyne hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Douglas Burnes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lewis Lemond. The goal made the score 1-3. 88 minutes into the match, AA Black Green City's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Burnes came free, but Lewis Lemond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drew Ballantyne kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Douglas Burnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Lemond having to interfere.
