Sid McGoun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas McGeachie having to interfere. Lewis Lemond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry McCorkindale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Euan Masterson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bowmore AFC booed when AA Black Green City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregor Fleming didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Larry McCorkindale fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lewis Lemond, passed just outside the right post. Lewis Lemond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry McCorkindale, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Euan Masterson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bowmore AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Euan Masterson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lewis Lemond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregor Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lucas McGeachie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas McGeachie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid McGoun, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lucas McGeachie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmond Reidfurd in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Bowmore AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sid McGoun came free, but Lucas McGeachie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lewis Lemond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry McCorkindale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neil McCurrach charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neil McCurrach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes AA Black Green City got a freekick which was hit by Neil McCurrach. If Edmond Reidfurd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sid McGoun was the one to do the kick off. Rupert McVeagh hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Archie Cookson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bowmore AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AA Black Green City the free kick. Euan Masterson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lewis Lemond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, AA Black Green City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Ballantyne to maneuver through the defense. Larry McCorkindale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Lemond having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, AA Black Green City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Ballantyne to maneuver through the defense. Edmond Reidfurd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas McGeachie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Larry McCorkindale in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Lemond saved AA Black Green City from getting behind. Larry McCorkindale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Larry McCorkindale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lewis Lemond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Euan Masterson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Lemond having to interfere. Edmond Reidfurd struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lucas McGeachie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AA Black Green City. After a defensive mix-up in AA Black Green City's zone, Euan Masterson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Lemond came out of the goal and Euan Masterson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bowmore AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
