With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greg McCowan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold McPhedron saved RAVENCLAW from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Troon AFC's zone, Aaron Buckley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicol Carter came out of the goal and Aaron Buckley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Harold McPhedron made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jim Forrister sent off a good shot on target. Jim Forrister struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Harold McPhedron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Troon AFC. After a rather tough play, RAVENCLAW's Paddy Duilach got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the game, Aaron Buckley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicol Carter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the game, Gregor Charles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Harold McPhedron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liam Tonnochy charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Liam Tonnochy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Liam Tonnochy kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Troon AFC's Sean McFeat shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Harold McPhedron but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Greg McCowan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Troon AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Greg McCowan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold McPhedron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Liam Tonnochy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Troon AFC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after RAVENCLAW's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sean McFeat took the corner. The corner ended in Sean McFeat almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RAVENCLAW's Harold McPhedron did a great save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Douglas Burnes made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Alisdair Pinkerton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RAVENCLAW and the Troon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes RAVENCLAW got a freekick which was hit by Alisdair Pinkerton. In the 58th minute of the match Sean McFeat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harold McPhedron skillfully saved the ball. During the 66th minute of the match Liam Tonnochy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Liam Tonnochy a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Liam Tonnochy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. A collision led to Troon AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jim Forrister hit a great ball. Troon AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
