Michael Grigor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Gunn in the 27th minute of the match. Darren Harper hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grant Spittel made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Phil Abrahams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Perth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Phil Abrahams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Grigor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Harper in the 66th minute of play forced Celtic Killers FC's goalkeeper Michael Grigor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Gunn got free with Michael Grigor in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Celtic Killers FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roddie McEachern hit a great ball. If Danny McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Grigor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phil Abrahams's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. The supporters of Perth AFC booed when Celtic Killers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roddie McEachern didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Celtic Killers FC's goalkeeper Michael Grigor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Gunn. If Danny McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ron McGillivour's late challenge caught a Perth AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron McGillivour helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Perth AFC booed when Celtic Killers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ron McGillivour didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Perth AFC's Phil Abrahams slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michael Grigor. That made the score 0-1 after 90 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Phil Abrahams in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Grigor saved Celtic Killers FC from getting behind. The Celtic Killers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perth AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perth AFC.
