Kieran McLardy scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josh McIlwhom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Evan Robison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evan Robison stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timothy McBeolain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dalwhinnie FC booed when Bonnybridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ken McKim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Kieran McLardy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josh McIlwhom was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Dalwhinnie FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bonnybridge had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
