Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie Carstarphen kicked off to start the match. In the 13th minute, Elliot Kean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The wind increased when Greg Collier made the kick off in the second half. Larry McCeallaich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Anthony McFarlane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Latheron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Nish to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Roddie McKerchar in the 85th minute really tested Anthony McFarlane's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Robbie Carstarphen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alva's supporters rose to their feet, but Robbie Carstarphen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Doles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Jay McLachlan.
