Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ivan Fostar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Forsinard's Ronnie McKelloch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Fostar in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Forsinard's Ben Broom got a free kick in the 7th minute. Andrew Green fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Frizell having to interfere. Marc Frizell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Taylor in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Richard Lonie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Frizell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Green, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Forsinard's Derek Taylor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc Frizell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, AttackAcademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stewart Fairbairn to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Andrew Green left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forsinard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Andrew Green managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsinard's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrew Green was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Frizell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Forsinard! Stewart Fairbairn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ronnie McKelloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Marc Frizell came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Forsinard's Derek Taylor. But to his dismay, Derek Taylor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Andrew Greens short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Marc Frizell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vincent McMurray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie McKelloch having to interfere. Ronnie McKelloch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Fostar in the 69th minute of play. If Vincent McMurray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stephen Donleavy kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Ivan Fostar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Fostar in the 95th minute of play forced Forsinard's goalkeeper Ronnie McKelloch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Forsinard's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
