Spectators: 6809 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 0) Connor McWhirr made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Perth's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Day came free, but Fergus Airth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Connor McWhirr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nathan McDiarmid came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Perth's Mark McOnie. But to his dismay, Mark McOnie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark McOnie in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathan McDiarmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jake McChlerich might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Airth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jake McChlerich ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Perth's Drew McHarold got a free kick in the 27th minute. Nathan Beattie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Airth having to interfere. Connor McWhirr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nathan McDiarmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jake McChlerich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake McChlerich in the 40th minute of play forced Perth's goalkeeper Fergus Airth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Peebles United's goalkeeper Nathan McDiarmid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark McOnie. Peebles United's Nathan Beattie got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nathan Beattie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Peebles United were awarded a corner. Rory McVeagh went to the cornerflag to take it. Rory McVeagh made a great header on Peebles United's corner, it was just that Perth's Fergus Airth managed to reach the ball for a save. Perth's Fergus Airth couldn't get a good grip on the ball when Rory McVeagh shot the distance nicking the right pole and went into goal in the 55th minute, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Nathan Beattie took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Fergus Airth to make any attempt to save it. In the 73rd minute of the match Barry Evans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nathan McDiarmid showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathan Beattie in the 74th minute of play forced Perth's goalkeeper Fergus Airth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peebles United's Nathan Beattie got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jake McChlerich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Billy Balfour fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perth's protests and gave Billy Balfour a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Perth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Balfour to maneuver through the defense. Peebles United were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Perth to leave the ground with a draw.
