In the 23rd minute, Nathan Beattie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephen McKee kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Jake McChlerich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stewart McDaniell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathan McDiarmid was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Stewart McDaniell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan McDiarmid having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Seaview FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Beattie came free, but Ross McFater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nathan Beattie to make the kick off. Stewart McDaniell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Nathan McDiarmid made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Fergus Cottrill made a precise shot to the right of Nathan McDiarmid. Peebles United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ross McFater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathan Beattie, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ross McFater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Beattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dominic Bowman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 80 played minutes Peebles United got a freekick which was hit by Dominic McErracher. Nathan McDiarmid made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fergus Cottrill sent off a good shot on target. Stephen McKee kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Ross McFater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Beattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nathan Beattie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peebles United's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Beattie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ross McFater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Peebles United's Jake McChlerich in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seaview FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Jake McChlerich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Seaview FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
