If Roddie McKeamish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roddie McKeamish's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy McRaild read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Jeremy McRaild showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Fostar, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Roddie McKeamish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jeremy McRaild tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy McRaild was a little too slow when Roddie McKeamish got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-2. The attack was good, but when Roddie McKeamish in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Roddie McKeamishs short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Jeremy McRaild to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Jeremy McRaild managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when partick thistle's Roddie McKeamish fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Wishaw City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. partick thistle were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
