After a defensive mix-up in Hamilton Academical F.C.'s zone, Nicholas Munn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steve Robinson came out of the goal and Nicholas Munn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saltcoats FC played a much better game than Hamilton Academical F.C. and deserved their victory. The Hamilton Academical F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
