Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremy McIlreach kicked off to start the match. Sandown FC's Marin Olteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Guy Dobbie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guy Dobbie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calum Drummond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Sandown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis McNee to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th match minute, Sandown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis McNee to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Sandown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy McIlreach came free, but Reşat Uzlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandown FC's Reşat Uzlet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sandown FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sandown FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lewis McNee hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes Sandown FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicol Barron. Calum Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Schvarzbacher in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Haddington booed when Sandown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Dobbie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reşat Uzlet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephen McEachran in the 33rd minute. Reşat Uzlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Neil in the 34th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Schvarzbacher in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calum Drummond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sandown FC's Reşat Uzlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy McIlreach in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Sandown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremy McIlreach came free, but Reşat Uzlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Schvarzbacher was the one to do the kick off. Sandown FC's Reşat Uzlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy McIlreach in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Haddington's Douglas Aitcheson got a free kick in the 60th minute. Lewis McNee was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. Lewis McNee kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Douglas Aitcheson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reşat Uzlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Neil in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy McIlreach in the 73rd minute of play forced Sandown FC's goalkeeper Reşat Uzlet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sandown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stephen McEachran came free, but Reşat Uzlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Sandown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Cargill to maneuver through the defense. Reşat Uzlet came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Haddington's Jeremy McIlreach. But to his dismay, Jeremy McIlreach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Erik Schvarzbachers short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Calum Drummond to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Reşat Uzlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stephen McEachran in the 87th minute of play. Haddington's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
